Webinar
Created for Connection: Understanding Behavior Through the Nervous System
Join occupational therapist Deana Lesher, founder of Pediatric Connections, for an engaging, neuroscience-informed training on behavior. With over 30 years of experience, Deana helps participants reframe behavior as communication from the nervous system—not something to simply manage.
This interactive session explores how the brain and body respond to stress, including fight/flight and freeze states, and how sensory systems impact regulation and connection. Participants will gain practical, hands-on strategies—especially using touch—to support nervous system regulation in children across home, school, and therapy settings.
Walk away with a deeper understanding of behavior, a more compassionate lens, and effective tools to foster safety, connection, and growth.
This one-hour webinar is designed for foster, kinship, adoptive, and biological parents, as well as anyone who supports or parents children.
Attendance is free, but registration is required. A link to join the virtual session will be sent to all registrants prior to the event.
