Shop Local and Grow the Village This July!
At Foster Village Northeast KS, we believe that vulnerable children and families deserve more than a system, they deserve a village. That’s the heart behind our annual “Growing the Village Is Sweet” fundraiser in July.
All month long, families, businesses and churches from across Lawrence and Topeka are turning life’s lemons into lemonade to raise $20,000 for children and caregivers experiencing foster care. Funds will go toward providing essential items and vital wraparound support to foster families in our community.
Plan Your Participation
Make a donation to our “virtual cup” and double your impact. All online (select “Lemonade Stand Fundraiser”) and Venmo @FosterVillageNEKS donations (comment “lemonade”) will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $2,000.
Shop from local participating businesses. Enjoy lemon cocktails and lemon-scented candles, cookies and curated gifts. Each lemon-themed item sold sends proceeds directly to Foster Village Northeast KS. See a list of our local give-back businesses below. ⬇️
Visit a lemonade stand near you. Dozens of families, churches, and kids across Northeast KS are hosting lemonade stands to raise money for Foster Village. Follow along on Facebook and Instagram to see where stands are popping up!
Tag us on Facebook or Instagram when you visit a stand or buy a lemon product from a participating business. We’ll reshare your post and help amplify your support.
