The Team

Justin Heitz is the Owner and Operator of Chick-fil-A Iowa & 27th in Lawrence, Kansas. Since becoming an Operator, Justin has focused on developing leaders, strengthening operational systems, and building a culture centered on care, accountability, and long-term growth. His team also supports Chick-fil-A’s operations at the University of Kansas, helping serve students and guests across campus dining locations and events.

 

Justin is passionate about supporting foster families and creating practical ways for people in the community to step in and help vulnerable children and caregivers feel supported. His involvement with Foster Village aligns closely with his faith and desire to serve families in meaningful, tangible ways.

 

Outside of work, Justin and his family are actively involved at Free City Church in Lawrence. He and his wife are raising four children and are passionate about faith, family discipleship, and building a strong home. Justin also enjoys distance running, coffee shops, and spending quality time with family and friends.
