Dr. Susan Brian is a physician in Topeka, a former foster parent and adoptive mother who brings a deep, personal commitment to serving children and families in the foster care system. Alongside her husband, she has helped care for children through fostering and has adopted two children, experiences that have shaped her understanding of both the challenges and the profound impact of community support.

She is a mother of five and is passionate about strengthening families and giving back to the local Kansas community that has supported her own. Susan believes that every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and safe, and she is dedicated to helping create a network of care around foster and bio families so they never feel alone in this journey.

As a board member of Foster Village NE Kansas, she focuses on supporting practical, compassionate solutions that meet families where they are and help children thrive. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside others who are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children.
