Lori Lee
Co-Founder, Director of Family Equipping and Engagement
Lori Lee is the co-founder and Director of Family Equipping & Engagement at Foster Village Northeast KS, where she draws from more than a decade of lived experience as a foster parent, kinship caregiver, adoptive parent, and respite provider.
Since entering the foster care world in 2012, Lori has seen the system from every angle, and knows firsthand the emotional, practical, and relational support families need to keep going. She is especially passionate about maintaining meaningful connections between children and their biological families, and approaches every part of this work with care and humility.
Lori helped launch the Lawrence affiliate of Foster Village in 2022 (now called Foster Village Northeast KS) and leads efforts to equip caregivers, build community, and ensure no child or caregiver walks this road alone.
