The Team

Katie was born and raised in Golden, Colorado before finding her way to University of Kansas, where she earned degrees in Education and Special Education. After falling in love with Lawrence, she chose to make Kansas home and now works in both education and real estate at Stephens Real Estate. Katie and her husband have two sons in Lawrence and are passionate about investing in the community they love.

Katie joined the Board of Directors for Foster Village Northeast Kansas because she has seen firsthand through her experiences in the community how powerful connection, compassion, and support can be for children and families. She feels honored to be part of an organization that leads with both heart and action.
