Jenny Lichte
Co-Founder, Coordinator of Education and Advocacy
Jenny and her family have been advocates for foster families since extended family began fostering in 2014. They have seen the intensity of the work, and have struggled to find ways to help. Jenny understands the confusion surrounding what foster families do, what they need, and how people not fostering can equip, connect, and advocate.
Jenny helped launch Foster Village Lawrence in 2022. She has a degree in Spanish from Baylor University, and is the Director of Children's Ministry at her church. Jenny has years of working with children and teens as a teacher and in various volunteer capacities. She especially loves coordinating opportunities for people to enter into hard places with compassion, resources, and care, using their unique giftings and abilities to strengthen the community.
