Emily became the Kinship Care Coordinator in 2025 after walking the kinship journey herself with her nephew, Remi. She and her husband JD understand both the joys and challenges of kinship caregiving. Emily has a deep desire to support others walking similar paths, connecting families to resources and encouragement through Foster Village Northeast KS.
