The Team

Brenda Brown has spent her career serving with Cru in college ministry, investing in the lives of students through relational and experiential learning.

She is drawn to Foster Village Northeast Kansas by a deep appreciation for the women and team who faithfully support foster families, and by the meaningful, compelling work happening within the foster care system. Brenda is passionate about coming alongside her friends at Foster Village and helping cultivate sustainable funding so the organization can continue to grow and serve well.

Outside of ministry and board work, Brenda is known as “Grandma Bea” and loves her daughter Katie, her son-in-law Jon, and her granddaughter Sophie, who live in Alaska.

Brenda enjoys baking sourdough, knitting, exercising, and catching up with friends over the phone.
